i don't understand, besides being great for messy people, what actual 100's of hours of work is getting done?

I understand your point. You’re probably looking for time savings in the two points I mentioned at the beginning:

- Creates professional deliverables (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documents)

- Lets you add plugins for specialized work (sales, legal, finance, and productivity)

I wanted to keep the guide short and simple so anyone could understand it. I’ll cover those two points in the upcoming guides. Stay tuned!

Claude code can perform pretty much the same tasks, what are the benefits of cowork?

The main benefit of Cowork is accessibility. You don’t need to use a terminal or interact with code, which is a game-changer for non-technical users.

Claude Code is more powerful, but Cowork was built to remove the technical barriers that come with using Claude Code
