I do not want to use Chrome; it is a Google product and extremely intrusive and deceptive. Why are you advocating using it? I simply do not understand this. Especially for Claude since that is Anthropic and Google is Gemini?
Why not do a setup for Safari or Firefox, when you are on a Mac? Something better than Chrome for Windows?
What’s the issue with Google and it being intrusive and deceptive exactly? Would be good to know as I use it for Google Drive as well as my email and I’ve recently got Google Gemini included w the subscription and so I linked them all together. I read thru all the privacy and data sharing features and turned off as many as I can
nice, I do this with Claude Code and Playwright browser automation. I also build scouts for X and Substack to find useful posts to read, and am glad it found yours.

Claude in chrome is the only Anthropic extension. There is no such a thing for other browsers.
